You can’t talk theme parks without mentioning food. For some parks food is one of the biggest draws aside from the attractions and entertainment. Like the responsible foodie that I am, it’s my duty to highlight a few delicious food and treat options from around Universal Orlando that I’ve tried personally. Add them to your must try list for your next visit to Universal Orlando in 2026 and thank me later.
EPIC UNIVERSE
PIZZA MOON PIZZA

Upon entering Epic Universe follow the left path inside Celestial Park. Just past the Super Nintendo World portal on the left is Pizza Moon.

This quick service, Victorian theatre themed restaurant serves traditional and specialty wood-fired pizza – eight varieties to be exact. You’ll find interesting and unique toppings and combinations to choose from.
The atmosphere is family friendly and whimsical with celestial themed details throughout. Kinetic decor elements suspended from the ceiling will keep the little ones engaged and in awe while they enjoy delicious pizza.
Once you mobile order from your table your order is brought directly to you.
I ordered The Giant Mushroom, which is topped with roasted garlic béchamel, fromage de lune, wild mushrooms, truffle aioli and parsley.

This is a must try for mushroom lovers. It’s reasonably priced at $18.99. There is no tomato sauce as with traditional pizza but it’s just as savory and delicious.
The Giant Mushroom is a 12” pie and shareable for up to two people, or even one if you’re really hungry/greedy. I won’t judge because I finished mine solo.
CELESTIKI BAR PIÑA COLADA

Warning: this frozen Piña Colada is a certified “dranky drank” and is NOT for the weak. I think we’ve all been disappointed by water down, $18 theme park cocktails at some point – I won’t name names if you won’t.
Just one of these piña coladas is a guaranteed good time. As a light weight myself, I can only handle half of one. The presentation is simple yet eye catching and the flavor is unmatched. I have yet to try a frozen piña colada (in the United States that is) that rivals this one in price, presentation, flavor and alcohol balance so if you want to enjoy a quality frozen cocktail at Epic Universe, start with a frozen Piña Colada from CelesTiki bar.

CelesTiki is a quick service walk up bar located inside Celestial Park just across the main path from the Dark Universe portal.
The price may fluctuate but most recently I’ve seen it at $21.25. This Piña Colada is sure to become a foodie favorite if it hasn’t already. PSA, remember you must be at least 21 with valid ID to purchase & consume alcoholic beverages.
WARM HEARTED CINNAMON BITES

These yummy, bite sized fried dough treats are dusted in cinnamon sugar and topped with a sweet icing drizzle. The best part is they’re served warm, which for me takes the ooey gooey goodness to another level.
One order comes with eight bites which are shareable for up to two. It could easily be a single serving if you’re hungry/greedy. Again, I won’t judge. I finished them all by myself!

Warm Hearted Cinnamon Bites are priced around $9.99. De Lacey’s Cottage is a quick service snack booth located just past the Frankenstein Manor to the right of the main path.
HICCUP’S GRILLED SALMON

Mead Hall is a quick service restaurant that requires mobile ordering from your table. Your food is brought directly to you.
Hiccup’s Grilled Salmon is the perfect option for lunch or dinner when you want a light yet hearty meal. I’ve had this entree three times and it’s been consistently good.
It’s one of a few offerings on the healthier side – a carb, protein and veggies, nothing fried or drowning in sugar. The portions are perfectly sized and everything is prepared to perfection.

This entree ranges in price from $20.99-$21.99.
Mead Hall is hard to miss. It’s located in the heart of the How to Train Your Dragon portal. Follow the main path toward the towering mountain rock where the Vikings gather for fellowship and grand feasts.
MONOCAINE MOCKTAIL
The Monocaine Mocktail has become a popular non alcoholic beverage exclusive to Dark Universe. You can order it from Das Stakehaus and The Burning Blade Tavern.
It’s served in a regular plastic cup for $7 or a souvenir flask. The souvenir flask is available at both locations for $12.
If you’re a fan of sweet, pineapple and blue raspberry flavored drinks, don’t skip this one. I was hooked after the first sip. Some say it’s overly sweet but to me it’s perfectly sweet.
It’s served cold with a hint of carbonation which I love. It has a blueish green color with a pearlescent finish and a somewhat viscous consistency. The viscosity and carbonation gives it texture and depth as compared to a regular soda which makes it so unique.
Universal Studios Florida
FREEZE RAY POPS

Everyone loves popsicles especially on a hot, sunny day at Universal Studios. Freeze Ray Pops in Minion Land serves fun flavors like lemon, blueberry, strawberry and many more including my personal favorite, coconut.

It’s so good that I honestly have no desire to try any of the other flavors – I order coconut every single time. Standard pops are $5.99 while specialty pops are $8.99.

Freeze Ray Pops is located in Minion Land directly across from Universal Music Plaza.
MINION MACARONS

Just steps from Freeze Ray Pops you’ll find Bake My Day, a Minion themed bakery and shop. Their must try treat: Minion Macarons. Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Pretzel and Cotton Candy are my favorites – each are equally delicious and a guaranteed repeat purchase.

Minion Macarons are $3.75 each or $20 for a box of six. Yes macarons are expensive but the delicate texture and undeniable flavor justifies the cost.
I had to make this a series because there are way too many offerings to cram into one post. You can expect future posts featuring many more delicious, must try food and snacks for you to discover on your next visit to Universal Orlando this year.
