Disney Merch Bargain Finds

Disney is expensive. Have you ever really paid attention to the price tags on Disney parks merch? We all love to rock a cute pair of Minnie Ears or a classic Walt Disney World spirit jersey when visiting the parks, right? It’ll cost you.

Most of us want all the hottest Disney gear and accessories but it’s not always feasible to drop $75 on a spirit jersey, $80 for a Disney Loungefly, $40 for a Magic Band or $35 for new Minnie ears. It’s pricey for one person, but imagine the cost for a family of four – ouch.

Keeping budget in mind I wanted to find reasonable alternatives to purchasing merch in Disney Parks and stores. I recently discovered that two popular retailers carry cute Disney merch at affordable prices.

1. UNIQLO

I’m a new fan of Uniqlo. Despite regular visits to Disney Springs, I never shop this store. Thanks to my teenager I have finally been enlightened on how great it actually is.

They don’t sell Minnie ears or Disney Loungefly bags, but they do carry a nice collection of reasonably priced Disney t-shirts that are worth checking out.

In addition to the amazing variety of men & women’s basics they’re most known for, Uniqlo carries an ever changing selection of licensed Disney clothing and products.

Mickey merch is the most prominent and readily available in the store but you’d be surprised at how many other familiar Disney characters are represented as well.

Disney clothing comes in adult and youth sizes. There is always a great selection of styles, colors and characters making it easy to find something for everyone.

Usually I go for minimalist graphic tees and I was impressed with almost every Disney minimalist t-shirt design available. Youth size t-shirts were $14.90 and most adult size t-shirts were $24.90.

Depending on the style and character, youth and adult t-shirt prices may vary. I saw one particular adult t-shirt priced at $34.

Another option is to shop the Uniqlo website here where you’ll find the same Disney collection available in the stores, including deep discounts on past season items.

At the end of the Uniqlo folded T-shirt aisle you’ll find a large red display listing the newest t-shirt designs that will become available by month. Just above the list is a large QR code which links you to their website where you can shop all the latest t-shirt designs and products.

Uniqlo Disney T-shirt styles and prices are big wins but even more impressive is the quality. They’re made of 100% cotton and you can feel how well made they are.

2. FIVE BELOW

I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been to a Five Below over the years, but once again my teenager gets credit for my recent discovery.

I’ve never been impressed by anything in this store but when I happened upon the $5.55 graphic tee wall I quickly realized what a treasure I’d found.

Don’t let your eyes trick you. Look at the text closely. At first you think you see $5 Tee Shop when in actuality it reads $5.55! Not deceiving, just very slick.

You may have to check multiple locations because styles and availability my vary from store to store. I noticed that styles tend to rotate out through the year because the t-shirts that I purchased for myself last Spring are no longer available at any of the stores I’ve been to recently.

Most of these Disney t-shirts are styles that I’ve never seen in the parks so I’m not sure if they’re overstock from past seasons or perhaps unreleased styles. They could also be exclusive to Five Below but I’m not for certain.

Either way, these Disney tees are ideal when you need to buy more than one for multiple people, especially children. They’re super cute and most importantly they’re affordable!

You can buy five tees for less than the cost of one from any of the Disney parks and that goes a long way when you have a tight merch budget.

Five Below t-shirts are decent quality for the price but there is a clear and distinct difference in quality, style and variety between Five Below and Uniqlo.

I’m satisfied with my purchases from both retailers. I have no doubt most Disney fans like myself are glad to have more affordable merch options like these to create cute Disney themed fits for less while looking great in the parks.
