Must-try Food at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

No Disney trip is complete without indulging in a few delicious treats. Some would even consider it a Disney rite of passage. I recently tried three popular offerings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios including an entree, beverage and dessert.

All three offerings are currently available at Fairfax Fare. This is a quick service dining location on Sunset Blvd just across the street from the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater.

ENTREE:

The Buffalo Chicken Bowl

The Buffalo Chicken Bowl

The presentation of this savory entree reminds me of a mini Shepherds Pie. It’s made of boneless Buffalo chicken bites, a layer of mashed potatoes, a crunchy Cole slaw topping and a crisp waffle bowl base.

I consider this entree the perfect comfort food for its hearty layers, contrasting textures and savory flavors. All the flavors come together like magic making this an easy pick for a quick yet filling meal option.

The waffle is more savory than sweet. It’s firm at first but loses its crunch due to direct contact with the mashed potatoes. The Buffalo Chicken Bowl is priced at $14.49. The portion size is small yet filling so it’s definitely worth the money. Rating: 10/10

In addition to the Buffalo Chicken flavor, there is a Korean Barbecue Pork Belly option. I haven’t tried it personally by I hear it’s just as tasty.

BEVERAGE:

Bell Cup of Enchantment

This is one of the most refreshing non-alcoholic beverages I’ve tried at any Disney Park. The Belle Cup of Enchantment is a burst of tropical goodness that can quench your thirst after a long, hot day in the park.

The Belle Cup of Enchantment

Orange, passion fruit, cranberry and guava flavors blend together beautifully in this perfectly balanced tart-sweet beverage. The strawberry boba pearls are a pretty and tasty added touch.

The Belle Cup of Enchantment has become my favorite go-to drink at Hollywood Studios. It’s priced at a reasonable $7.29. Rating: 10/10. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor and order one on your next visit – thank me later.

DESSERT:

The Enchanted Rose

The Enchanted Rose

I’ll be honest, I may have to try this dessert again for a more accurate and honest review. I tasted this dessert immediately after sipping on the Belle Cup of Enchantment and geez, talk about a flavor clash!

The Enchanted Rose is dark chocolate mousse with deep, rich flavors throughout. The base is a black currant Morello Cherry-Chocolate Shortbread Cookie. Inside is Whipped Cookies & Cream Fluff and a gilded chocolate covered cocoa nibs topping.

I am a true chocolate lover, including milk, white and dark chocolate alike. Despite that, I feel this dessert deserves a clean palette to truly appreciate the rich, creamy chocolate goodness that it is. It’s priced at $5.79. Rating: undecided.

Next visit to Hollywood Studios I’ll be sure to make the Enchanted Rose the first thing I try and I’ll give another review of it for you here on the blog!

Overall the Buffalo Chicken Bowl, Belle Cup of Enchantment and the Enchanted Rose are delicious food/drink options at Hollywood Studios and are worth having again.

Let me know your thoughts on these three offerings from Hollywood Studios Fairfax Fare. If you’ve tried any them, which is your favorite?
